A City is a Gift

I am honored to be a part of the Elgin Utility Box Wrapping Program, sponsored by the Elgin Cultural Arts Commission. You can find this fancy new utility box on the corner of Chicago St and Douglas Ave.

Inspiration for the art comes from the city, its many offerings and the people who so carefully cultivate this unique place. It is a celebration of that effort and an encouragement to us, here and now to continue to care for what is good so that we can continue to pass on this gift.
