About Me, Kerri Liu
The Gin is a boutique studio founded with the purpose of creating inspiring art about the historic city of Elgin. I love illustrating & designing pieces that encourage the viewer to shift their perspective and explore a different aspect of seemingly common elements of our daily lives in an effort to inspire joy and curiosity.
Designing for 18+ years, I’ve had the pleasure of working with clients big and small to help them accomplish their marketing and communications goals. Though design has been a large part of my career, illustration is my first love. I’ve been drawing and making things since I was a kid, getting to continue creating as an adult is a dream come true.
Today, I live on the west side of Elgin with my partner Joe, and our two kids; Oliver and Violet.
