“The Elgin Fire Barn No. 5 Museum is a Nationally Registered Historical Building and second official landmark in Elgin, Illinois. Established in 1903, it was the fifth original fire barn in Elgin which originally housed horses and a firefighting carriage. The Fire Barn has been out of operation since 1991, but it now operates as a museum which contain historical firefighting artifacts.”
